Using thread, pins, and watercolor paper, I create intricate 3D drawings to explore shape, line, color, shadow, and the meditative rhythm of patterns.   Layering and suspending the thread between the pins creates a mesmerizing optical effect that brings to mind the balance of delicacy and resilience of life, nature, dreams, and memory, with a touch of nostalgia, hope, and delight.
